Scathed

The fact that the onslaught of Ondoy was too strong and grand in scale for preparation and the people's underestimation can be the reason for the tragic view of our country now but seriously, there's no more time for assigning the blame so let's just help one another in any way. Black outs, disconnections, signal disruptions, floods, landslides, road cracks and other unpleasant view in television are enough proof of the backlash of our degrading environment. I'm finding it hard myself to realize the magnitude of the storm's destruction and how people will rebound from this but still glad everyone in my family is safe. What's More uplifting to the mood is seeing people are donate to the ravaged and the damaged. We did our part by giving excess or used clothes already. Just the simple text messages of "Kamusta kayo dyan?" are enough things to console the bereaved souls. Hang on, we'll eventually get past this.
