For once I heard something insightful from my comic mom. She's been always preoccupied with her trial-balances, financial statements and Korean marathons to talk to us about social issues with earnestness. Some of the subjects where we build a good rapport is concerned mainly with people, school and how our day went well. Going back to the Aquino son ballyhoo, it's not the media pimping that's blowing up his chances in triumph but the people's vision in a stalwart of morality and harbinger of hope that they see in him, a hero born out of the spur of the moment.
I see it in him and I'll vote for him. I just need to register, swear.
I heard Mrs. Imelda Marcos told the news reporter that the Marcos regime most particularly the Martial Law days should be considered as a Golden Age in our history. Now please tell me what's so golden with over expenditure, repression of people, closure of publishing houses and networks, curfew hours and all those frenzied rallies. Klutz.
