After Chiz Escuder renounced his will to run for presidency this 2010, I was actually left indecisive of who to vote for. Cory's death emitted her magic and eventually catapulted her son to heed the call for the highest position of the country. Many people are so much hyped that a hero can be seen in Noynoy and that he will reform this country. Unfortunately, I was not one of them. I want a leader that's not brought along by fame or birthright, a leader who isn't full of crap about corruption being eradicated as means of total progress and a leader who is pragmatic enough to execute laws without external constraints by looming allies objectively. That person for me is Gilbert "Gibo" Teodoro.
A man of wits, pragmatism and nobility, Gibo was a fine replacement for our rotting leader. Sure he may be in the administration's party but the guilt by association always being thrown at him isn't strong enough to down a stalwart of determination and valiance. He could easily shrug off the ties with the administration and usher in a new order led by him and his new subjects. He dismissed that the current administration has nothing to do with his race and the succeeding events if ever he will win. Plain machinery and support.
SULONG G1BO!
I have faith in him, his platform and resolve. He is my choice for president. My vote is locked on him. He may not be winnable as suggested by vague surveys but I stand by my conviction that he is my choice. Win or lose, I know in the end my vote wasn't wasted because I voted for a candidate I believed in.

Indeed, sulong Gibo! Even if he lost, the inspiration he left to the greenies will never be forgotten.
